Ride Vietnam's most spectacular mountain road on this 4-day motorbike adventure through Ha Giang province. Heaven's Gate mountain pass, the northernmost point of Vietnam at Lung Cu, the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, Tu San Canyon boat trip and nights with ethnic minority families in remote homestays. This is Vietnam at its rawest and most beautiful.
Overnight sleeper bus from Hanoi (7:30pm departure). Arrive Ha Giang around 4:00am. Free room and breakfast at Buffalo Hostel on arrival.
Depart at 9:00am. Ride through Bac Sum Pass to Heaven's Gate for panoramic mountain views. Lunch in Tam Son.
Afternoon hike to Lung Khuy Cave (4km round trip). Visit the Lung Tam weaving village and stop at Bat Dai Son viewpoint.
Arrive at Can Ty homestay around 4:00pm. Walk to the 250-year-old Lonely Tree. Dinner with "happy water" and karaoke with your hosts.

Depart at 8:00am. Ride the Tham Ma Pass (5km at 1,500m altitude). Visit the Hmong King Palace (valued at 150+ billion VND).
Climb the 400 steps to Lung Cu Flag Tower — the northernmost point of Vietnam with views into China. Lunch in Dong Van.
Ride the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Take a boat trip on the Nho Que River through the breathtaking Tu San Canyon. Arrive at Meo Vac homestay, dinner and karaoke.

Ride back over Ma Pi Leng Pass for a second look. Navigate the stunning Sa Ly Pass with its famous M-shaped curve.
Lunch in Mau Due town. Continue to the Du Gia valley — home to 17+ ethnic minority groups. In summer, cool off swimming in streams and waterfalls.

Depart at 8:30am. Ride through Duong Thuong commune. Lunch in Can Ty.
Take the Thai An–Thuan Hoa route back to Ha Giang City. Arrive 4:00–4:30pm. Trip ends.
